Mike Lassiter is our President and Chief Executive Officer. In this capacity, he focuses on helping individuals, Certified Franchising Consultants, and companies achieve success through franchising.

Mike’s franchising experience is extensive. He has launched nine new franchise-related companies and has successful multi-unit management experience gathered throughout the course of over 38 years. Mike has been a franchisee, franchisor and area developer. This experience on all sides of the franchising model gives him a perspective only few possess.

As an Area Developer for Schlotzsky’s, Mike was responsible for developing 85 units in his territory, making him the second largest Area Developer for the company worldwide. During this time, Mike’s territory went from generating less than $1M in annual revenue, to bringing in approximately $40M.

In addition, Mike was a Schlotzsky’s franchisee himself, purchasing one unit and building another. His units were recognized as: “Best Deli” in North Atlanta by Creative Loafing Magazine, “Favorite Place for a Sandwich” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and “Top Deli in North Atlanta” by Inside Northside Magazine. He also has extensive experience in commercial real estate and has been a guest lecturer at universities and high schools in the Metro Atlanta Area. He obtained a BBA in Management from Sam Houston State University completed his MBA studies at Mercer University. He is also an active member of Entrepreneur Organization (EO).
